Federer breaks all time record

On Monday, Roger Federer will still be the No. 1 player in the world. That makes 161 consecutive weeks atop the leaderboard. He now holds the all-time record for time spent as the No. 1 player in men's tennis. Federer is arguably the best player of all time, and one of the best athletes on the planet.
Federer has earned himself the right, in my mind, as the best player in the world, to be more than an ambassador for the best sports manufacturer in the world. Roger Federer should have his own line of Nike clothing.

He definitely should have his own clothing line! That would be a great way for him to promote himself. As far as advertising and publicity, Federer should put his name and himself out there more. Sure, every tennis fan knows who he is, but with a clothing line he could probably attract new audiences. I mean, not everyone who owns a pair of Air Jordan's is a die-hard Michael Jordan fan, right?

I feel like I don't see him in advertisements as much as other athletes. I always see Tiger Woods in commercials for Buick, and sometimes when I see LeBron James in a Sprite commercial I can't tell if he's promoting Sprite or himself. I think Federer was in a Rolex commercial a few months ago, but I definitely agree he needs more publicity since he is the best player, and his own clothing line would be a great idea.
